DOUG'S ONLINE DRUM LESSONS

     

 We can't stop bragging about Doug's Drum lessons and programs. He is the coach of our five-year-old son, Gabriel. Gabriel started with Doug a little over a year ago, when he was just four years old. Right away we witnessed Doug's welcoming personality, enthusiasm, patience, and generosity. We are always well informed so we can assist Gabriel as needed throughout week, and he also encourages and empowers his students to practice on their own. I personally love to watch Gabriel practice with confidence even when he messes up. I can tell it feeds his spirit and he enjoys the process of learning. When we switched to online lessons during Covid19 I was a little concerned, but I was quickly put at ease. Doug has the equipment and skills to keep his students engaged and excited! Lastly, we just learned that Gabriel will be placed in the excelled programs for reading and math. I mention this because Doug informed us that reading music helps with math skills before Gabe started school, and I was amazed on how quickly Gabriel took to math as well as reading. So, weather you're looking for a program to help build your child's confidence, working on building skills in math, reading, online learning or they just love to play the drums like our son, we highly recommend Doug. We went into his program excited that Gabe was matched with such an awesome instructor, who was highly recommended by The Music Studios of Vinings music school. We didn't know just how much of a difference it would make in his education, but we quickly learned, and our friends and family have noticed too.  I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for being who you said you were. I know that might sound funny, but that hasn't always been the case for us. Your spirit and your way with instruction has Ryan smiling and happy when yall hang-up. If you haven't noticed, he is a bit of an introvert so sometimes new experiences are hard for him, but thanks to you, he is super excited every time he talks about playing the drums. He Facetimes with his grandma (my mom) in NJ once a week to show her what he has learned so he'll call her tomorrow to share the new lesson. You're the best and we are grateful we were able to connect you two!
